Our annual charity quiz took place on Thursday 16th November in support of our charity partner, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. Bringing together our colleagues from The IN Group, clients and partners from across our network, and representatives from Rainbow Trust, the quiz was our biggest external event of the year, held at The Fable in London.
As well as a tight and keenly contested quiz covering general knowledge, trivia, movies and sports, the evening included a raffle of AirPods, personalised Dr Martens and a host of other items. There was also an auction of dinner for two at Le Petite Chef, a one-night stay at five-star hotel The Grove, a week in a villa at Pont Royal in stunning Mallemort, Provence, and a number of other spectacular prizes, kindly donated by members of our team and our wider network. Thanks to our attendees’ generosity, we raised over £12,000 (with more still coming in) which will go directly to the charity.
We were delighted to be joined by Elodie Pinn and Sophie Nathan from Rainbow Trust, who talked about the charity’s vital work and emphasised the importance of its partnership with The IN Group. Elodie said: “The company carries out some truly fantastic fundraising which will make such a difference to those families we help. We are so grateful that they understand the importance of our work and have chosen to partner with us. Rainbow Trust plays a crucial role in providing essential support to families with seriously ill children. The funds raised through this partnership will enable Rainbow Trust to continue offering invaluable support to families when they are going through the unimaginable.”
Founded in 1986, Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. The charity pairs thousands of families across the UK with their own Family Support Worker, who provides practical and emotional support. This might be taking the family to medical appointments, helping to explain diagnoses, keeping a child company during hospital stays, organising fun activities for sick children or their siblings, listening to the family’s fears and anxieties, and supporting parents and siblings through bereavement and grief. Its goal is to maximise the quality of time for families facing the difficulties of having a child with a serious illness. Find out more about Rainbow Trust here.
Our annual charity total for Rainbow Trust now stands at £36,000. If you’d like to support this incredible charity’s work, please visit our JustGiving page.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, donated and helped to organise another wonderful charity quiz.
